In this newsletter I would like to get right to the point, "How do we improve our HEALTH even if we have been doing all of the wrong things for years?

REPAIRING THE DAMAGE
Do you really want to turn your life around? The answer is simple. Stop smoking. Eat right. Implement an exercise program. Watch your weight. Drink less. Take it easy. And Take GOLDSTAKE MINERALS. If you think it is too late to reverse a lifetime of bad habits, think again, it's never too late. The latest research will surprise you.
Despite all of our bad habits of smoking, drinking, eating too much, lack of exercise, and stress, if we change our bad habits the body has a remarkable way of bouncing back. The heartening conclusion: the body has an amazing ability to heal itself, provided the underlying damage is not too great. The effects of smoking can haunt you for decades. But the damage of other habits - especially those that affect the circulatory system can largely be offset. "Any time you decide to improve your behavior and make lifestyle changes, they make a difference from that point on," says Dr. Jeffrey Koplan, Director of the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

THE FACTS
• Women who consume as little as 8 oz. of fish a week cut their risk of suffering a stroke almost in half.
• Eating more fruits, vegetables and fiber changes the blood's sensitivity to insulin within two weeks, helping decrease the risk of diabetes almost in half.

• Scientists have found that a sedentary 40-year-old woman who starts walking briskly for half an hour a day, four days a week, enjoys almost the same low risk of a heart attack as women who have exercised their entire lives.
• The day you stop smoking, the carbon monoxide levels in your body drop dramatically, within a week, your blood becomes less sticky and your risk of dying suddenly of a heart attack reduces greatly. Five years later, the chance you will have a heart attack falls nearly to that of someone who has never smoked.
• Doctors believe that as much as 70% of all chronic diseases from diabetes, heart disease and cancers can be warded off by proper nutrition and sensible lifestyle changes.

IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO CHANGE

EAT RIGHT
The benefit of adopting a healthy diet can have dramatic effects in improving your health. The DASH study (Dietary Approaches to Stopping Hypertension) has proven that a diet that emphasizes fruits and vegetables, promotes low-fat dairy and high-fiber grains, and permits modest portions of lean meat and reduces sodium intake-can lower blood pressure and help to reduce weight and heart disease. Eating more fish also has beneficial results. Certain fats found in fish called Omega-3 fatty acids are actually good for you. They help reduce the risk of clot formation in blood vessels; they also lower the amount of triglicerides in the blood. The bottom line is that the more fish you eat the more it will help to reduce heart attacks and strokes.

MINERAL INTAKE
Why Are so many people getting chronic diseases, disorders and infections today? The answer is we are not getting the nutrient rich foods in our diets because
